2019年夏、さいたま市内で開催される国際ジュニアサッカー大会
​International Junior Football Tournament at SAITAMA CITY

さいたまシティジュニアカップとは

2002年FIFA 日韓ワールドカップ開催における余剰金で県の国際交流事業の一環として１３年間続いていた埼玉国際ジュニアサッカー大会。2015年で小学生対象の大会が終わり、2016年から有志が集まり継続的に海外チームを呼んで子供たちに国際交流の場を設けるために開催されている大会です。

Saitama International Junior Football Tournament which lasted 13 years as part of the prefecture\'s international exchange project with surplus money held in the FIFA Japan - Korea World Cup 2002. In 2015, the competition for elementary school students is over, volunteers have gathered since 2016, planning to invite overseas team continuously to organize international exchange opportunities for children, is a new tournament to be held.

Japanese people is not good at speaking English.
Through football, we want children to interact with overseas children from the age of elementary school students and to have a global perspective.
That is the main purpose of this event.
